B C Eagles are Proud Supporter of Willie Cager
"I was born and raised in the Bronx, New York, to a low income family. My burning desire to become something more, along with the help of an athletic scholarship, afforded me an opportunity to leave the Bronx and attend Texas Western College (known today as the University of Texas at El Paso)."
"Along with being a member of the 1966 NCAA basketball championship team, I earned my college degree in 1969. I'm working on the next part of my dream: to provide a way out of the dismal future facing young people caught in the low income, low education scenario."
- Willie Cager
